Wildlife management practices at SCK Upland have been devoted to the improvement of natural habitat of upland bird species by planting a mixture of millet, sorghum, corn and prairie grass.
SCK Upland has set aside 100 acres in Brooke- Alvinston Township for your sporting pleasure. Here at SCK upland your hunting surroundings include 20 acre woodlot, various cropland and grass fields with 3 acres of ponds. We continually strive to improve the quality of our hunting grounds by rotating cover crops, and adding new cover varieties.
Every effort is made to make your hunt at our club as successful and enjoyable as possible. Our satisfaction is knowing that your hunt has been one you will always treasure. Who Can Hunt, Rules and Responsibilities
- Pre booking is required, a minimum of 48 Hours in advance of hunting
- All hunters must sign in and complete game farm orientation before commencing a hunt
- All hunters must have a valid outdoors card with small game license as per the Ministry of Natural Resources (Guidelines 2019 pg. 91)
- All hunters must have proof of valid PAL License.
- All hunters must wear 400 sq” of blaze orange on their torso and a blaze orange hat.
- Minimum shot size number 6, steel shot not required.
- No re loads or hand loads, manufactured shells only.
- No alcohol or drugs
- Guns will be unloaded unless in a designated hunting area as defined on the overhead map.
- Any abuse to persons, dogs or wildlife will not be tolerated.
- All persons on the property are required to sign a waiver for release of liability, if under 16 years of age a guardian signature and hunt accompany is mandatory.
- No Lead shot will be discharged into or over waterways
- You may only hunt and shoot game birds (pheasants, chucker, quail or released birds) at the farm.
- A reasonable effort to locate and secure all shot birds is required at all times
- You must take every precaution to ensure the safety of fellow hunters and all other persons who may be on or near the farm.
- It is the responsibility of the persons on the farm to obey MNR/MNRF legislation at all times
**Failure to follow these rules may result in stopping the hunt and or removal from the farm without refund**

What to Bring for Game Bird Hunting
- Hunter orange headwear and vest
- Firearm
- Soft gun case or gun sock
- Ammunition (manufactured shells only)
- Valid PAL
- Valid Province of Ontario Small Game Hunting License or Ontario Non-resident small game License and Non-resident Outdoors Card
- High top comfortable waterproof boots that hold up to freezing temperatures
- Weather condition appropriate clothing
- Insulated jacket
- Hat light/insulated
- Gloves
- Headlamp
- Hearing protection
- Knife or other to dress game onsite
- Cooler if you wish to take game home
- Camera
- Thermos
- Bug spray.

50 bird memberships will be $1300
membership payments are accepted by cash, cheque or E-transfer
– MEMBERS will be given priority when booking their hunt
– please note that booking is on a first-come, first serve basis
- Members will be given have the rights to duck hunt the ponds by booking
– Membership fees are due in full June 1st of every year
Birds release information
-Daily Hunting min. 5 birds per hunter
– 10-Birds minimum for a half day for per field
– NO BAG LIMIT! only pay for what you release
– dogs available upon request and must be booked in advance (150.00 for a half day)
– Not supplied: cooler (please bring a cooler to transport cleaned game)
Liability Insurance for all MEMBERS is covered through the National Firearms Association
Authorized Waiver
ALL CLIENTS MUST SIGN IN BEFORE ANY HUNTING TAKES PLACE
– morning hunts: 8:00 – 12:00 (Monday – Sunday)
– afternoon hunts: 1:00 – 5:00 (Monday – Sunday)
If you know what your fall schedule will be like, please reserve hunting dates and times early (HUNTING TIMES BOOK QUICKLY). Please note, we cannot guarantee you will get each date you request, but will do our best to meet your needs.
